COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Information

Thursday, March 26 at 10:58 a.m. – Below is our up-to-date plan: 

  • Thursday evening walk-in clinics are cancelled until further notice, and this Friday’s clinic (March 27) is cancelled.
  • Per the American Dental Association’s recommendation, our Dental Clinic will be closed through April 24, except for emergencies.
  • Please read below for more details in each department.

Contact us by phone (757-886-0608) before coming to the Clinic or a hospital if you meet the following criteria:

  • Symptoms such as fever, cough, or shortness of breath or
  • Travel to countries with coronavirus alerts within 14 days of onset of symptoms or
  • Contact with someone who traveled within the past 2 weeks to a high risk country or
  • Contact with someone with confirmed COVID-19 within 14 days of onset of symptoms

Clinical

  • The Clinic is currently NOT taking any sick walk-ins. All patients must call the clinic and receive triage by a medical staff member prior to making an appointment.
  • Medical will only see WELL patients by telemedicine appointment with exceptions on a case-by-case basis, and these patients will be screened before allowed to enter the facility.
  • Front Desk Reception has been moved to a window near the front door entrance. The window is underneath the tent that is labeled “Reception”.

Clinical (continued)

  • We will only see SICK patients in the afternoon by appointment Monday through Thursday. Sick patients will be asked to wear a mask or scarf from home to cover their mouth and nose, and they are asked to call the Clinic from their vehicle when they arrive.  
  • Thursday evening walk-in clinics are cancelled until further notice, and this Friday’s clinic (March 27) is cancelled. The majority of specialty clinics for the next 2 weeks are also cancelled.

Pharmacy

  • The Pharmacy will now be handing out prescriptions at the window facing the parking lot under the tent labeled “Pharmacy”.

Pharmacy (continued)

  • The Pharmacy will remain open Mondays-Wednesdays from 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
  • On Thursdays, the Pharmacy will be open from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Please ask for 90-day refills on medications in order to help limit the amount of times visiting the Clinic.
  • Please give us 3 business days to get your prescriptions ready.

Behavioral Health

  • Behavioral counseling appointments are all occurring via telemedicine.

Dental

  • Per the American Dental Association’s recommendation, our Dental Clinic will be closed through April 24, except for emergencies.
  • A staff member will remain in the office taking phone calls (757-886-0608 ext. 230) and contacting patients and volunteers regarding emergency circumstances and treatment.

Eligibility

  • For the next 2 weeks Lackey Clinic will not be having walk in new patient screenings, however, we will still be accepting online applications by clicking here or you may contact us by calling Amber or Kristyn in the Eligibility Department at 757-886-0608 ext. 253. 
  • Please do not let your card expire. If your card is going to expire in the next 30 days, please call Amber or Kristyn in the Eligibility Department at 757-886-0608 ext. 253.
